In Sydney, Australia’s largest city, the hardest thing is knowing where to start and where to end. Sydney is one of the world's most loved cities for a reason! This magnificent city is full of action around every corner. Days can be filled with walking through the city checking out the many unique sites. Walkthrough the beautiful botanic gardens down to the iconic Opera House and spectacular Harbour Bridge – past the many buskers and entertainers along the circular quay to meander through the Rocks for pancakes.
It is a must to jump on the ferry over to the seaside surf suburb of Manly. The ferry trip alone on Darling Harbour is a sight to behold, but the chilled-out surf vibe will make anyone feel on holiday.
No trip would be complete without a day relaxing on Bondi Beach with the diverse range of backpackers and other tourists along with many locals. It is one of Australia’s busiest beaches, to the locals, Bondi is a lifestyle, not a location, and it is easy to become immersed in the laid back culture, relaxing in one of the funky cafes, restaurants or bars. A great option is to take a walk along Bondi to Coogee Beach. It is a 6km Coastal walk along clifftops with unobstructed coastal views. There are plenty of picnic spots and cafes to check out, and you might even spot a whale or two!
Because Sydney is such a vibrant city, there is plenty of nightlife to experience. From Kings Cross to Darling Harbour to Newtown and Surrey Hills. As well as huge parties such as New Year's Eve and the colourful Mardi Gras. There is always something happening in Sydney!
