Just a 20% deposit locks in your campervan hire booking, with the balance payable, interest free, before booking. You get a way better deal that’s also more affordable when you book in advance, as opposed to waiting until you actually get to Australia.
Don’t worry if you change your mind either. If your travel plans change for any reason, you can change the dates you booked at any time before pick up. There’s no fee to make changes to your Spaceships booking, but the price will be recalculated based on your new travel dates so may end up higher or lower.

Rear awning included for extra ventilation

It is the easiest way to increase the space inside and to create extra ventilation to deal with those warm Aussie nights. Beta 2S Premium Campervan: youngest campervan in the fleet
We have 4 campervan models in our fleet, and they all begin their journey with us as a Beta 2S Premium. These campervans are the newest campervans on the fleet, seating and sleeping 2 people. They have no back seat, so more interior space. The sliding doors give you easy access to the bed and storage areas in the back of the campervan. As newer models, they have less mileage and wear and tear.

Beta 4-berth Campervan with Rooftop Tent: sleeps up to 4 Space Travellers
Some of the Beta 2S premiums are converted to our flagship family model, the Beta 4-berth Campervan with rooftop tent. This seats and sleeps 4 passengers, with rear seats, a double bed in the back of the campervan and a high spec pop-up/pop-down 2 berth tent on the roof. This is accessed by a ladder, for a campervan loft bedroom! It folds down into a roof top box and with its gas strut-assisted opening means your roof top tent is ready in about 30 seconds. No poles, no guy ropes, no hassle. It has internal lighting, solar powered ventilation and is insect proof – with great 360 degree panoramic views from the tent.

Beta Campervan: seats up to 4 Space Travellers
After 2-3 years the Beta 2S Premium becomes the Beta Standard. Same vehicle, but with the rear seat in the campervan. This means 4 people can travel with 2 sleeping in the campervan. Bring an additional tent or hire one with your Spaceships booking for a 4 person road trip.

Alpha Campervan: more mature model, lower price
Another 2-3 years later, the Beta Standard becomes the Alpha Budget Campervan. Once again, it’s the same vehicle but now with no rear seat again, so designed for 2 passengers. It’s probably around 4 years older now, with a little more wear and tear, but it's been well-maintained and absolutely perfect as a budget campervan. It also has all the Spaceships goodies included, sleeping & cooking gear, so only the price is budget. You definitely get more for your buck than with other rental companies' budget campervan models.
